Proposals are invited to undertake a review of the ‘Northumberland: A County of Thriving Communities’ partnership approach to bringing statutory and VCSE organisations together in a dynamic collaboration with one another across Northumberland.

Specifically, the 5 pilot projects which were funded as part of a wider project will need to be reviewed to see if and how they have successfully enhanced the offer of social prescribing activities and the specific impact they have had on participants health and wellbeing; particularly neurodiverse and mental health conditions. Additionally a county-wide referral system has been funded so a review of its engagement and effectiveness in connecting all parts of the system is being sought.

‘Northumberland: A County of Thriving Communities’ is a project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund with the twofold aim of bringing VCSE and statutory organisations together to work more collaboratively, as well as meeting the needs of communities through pilot funding social prescribing activities across the county of Northumberland.
